It took him quite a bit to notice, but, it seemed like Wen Hu blinked and was transported elsewhere. He had meant simply to go into town and collect a few things, paper and ink mainly, but. . . was the town always decorated in red? He remembered it being a nice shade of blue, not this passionate colour. It was weird. . . it almost felt like he was back in Wu! But, that couldn't be right. He and Yang had since defected back to Jin, and had been part of that kingdom for a bit now.

Wait.
Where they playing a trick on him?
Or, maybe they were having a visitor or something from Wu, and Jin wanted them to feel welcome? This seemed a bit overboard, though. . .

He probably stood there for a good few minutes before deciding on some course of action, and walked over to the nearest person. "U-um, please excuse me, but might I trouble you for a moment?"
After her unplanned adventure in Wei, Ai-Ling had just recently come back home. There was nothing edible left in her pantry, so a trip to the marketplace was inevitable. Along her way, though, she had found out that her neighbour's chicken had escaped and was following her, so she turned around to capture the bird, intending to return it to her neighbour right away. The chicken, however, perhaps feeling threatened, had ran away... and thus, the chase had started.

She had been chasing after the chicken for a good while, running through the streets and causing a bit of a ruckus as she went. And, just as she finally managed to catch the chicken, a couple of guards had stopped and yelled at her for a while, only letting her go after fining her.

Now, tired and carrying the goddamn chicken under her arm, she was on her way back home when the blue-clad stranger approached her. At first, she gave him an intrigued look, but as he continued to speak, his choice of words made her frown a little. "Uhhh I'd rather not get into more trouble for now, you see, this stupid chicken just costed me the salary of two months. But, like... well, you don't look much like trouble, soooo... what is it?"
He hadn't noticed it before, but the woman he called out to looked quite disheveled. "A-a chicken, my lady?" A chicken cost her two months of salary? Did she spend a lot of money on it or something? He didn't quite understand. He probably spent too much time thinking about it, because there was a good pause before he realized he started zoning out again on the thought, shaking his head harshly to bring himself back to reality. "O-oh, my apologies, my lady. If you are busy, I can simply ask someone else." He bowed respectfully, not wanting to bother her.
"Yes, this chicken!" She lifted the animal in front of him, which only caused the bird to cluck and flap its wings frantically. "Ah! Stupid thing! I should have let you get lost and die out there!!", she screamed at the chicken, while trying to put it under her arm again. Then, she gave the man a sheepish look, not noticing how spaced out he seemed to be. "Sorry about that! I didn't mean to-- what?" Ai-Ling hadn't noticed either she had started talking almost at the same time than him. "Uhh, no, I'm not that busy, I mean... I only have to stop by my neighbor's place to give her the chicken, but other than that I was going back home."

"Hm, you seem interesting~" Ibaraki regarded the other after a moment's pause. Raki didn't speak much, waiting for the others response to decide how to interact with them.
Ai-Ling's eyes opened wide in amazement as she looked at the person in front of her. "Waaaah, you're hair is so red! It looks like fire! Can I touch it? :iconiwantitplz: "
So much attention on the hair! Raki had to wonder if it was so strange. "Mm, it's just like my lord's~" they thought happily towards Shuten-doji, who was still missing. While it was sad, a smile remained on their face. "If you're gentle, I'll let you~" Raki said with a wink.
